For the last two years, I have led the Inlandia Ghost Walk Workshop. This has become an annual collaboration between the California Riverside Ballet and Inlandia. Inlandia runs a workshop to encourage community members to write short scripts for ghost stories, and the ones selected are then distributed to local theater groups and performed at location in Down Town Riverside sometime around Halloween. I’ve never written a ghost story, or a play. So, this was my first attempt. But my submission was selected and performed in October of 2015.
“Of Onyx and Violet” is a literary magazine from Vista Del Lago High School. I started the creative writing club at Vista several years ago and was very proud to see the students progress to the point where they were ready to produce a literary magazine. This is the first volume of the magazine. We hope to continue producing another volume each year.
“Quake Song” is a chapbook that was put together by MFA students from California State University, San Bernardino. It includes a brief excerpt from my novel “Proficiency.”
